Students learned clay basics including: the pinch-pot clay building method, how to join two or more pieces of clay (score, slip, seal) and how to create hollow forms. Students found an image of an animal, made sketches and then created a clay animal based on a ball formed from two pinch pots. After the animals were fired, students painted and sealed their clay creations.
