Gargoyles are grotesque statues that were put on the buildings to ward of evil spirits. Students practiced basic clay building techniques to craft a gargoyle out of clay. After the gargoyles were fired, students painted their sculptures to look like stone. GARGOYLES READY TO BE STAINED
